I’m a half-German/half-Indian who feels very German at heart (organized, my watch runs 5 minutes fast) and I love the unique marriage between moving images and music. I have a thing for musicals. And I want to live in a world with more musicals.
My obsession with musicals and film-making began at the age of four with Gene Kelly and Disney animated movies (Hunchback!). Once I realized directors helped make these magical things, I knew what I wanted to do with my life.
In 2012 I teamed up with my brother Antonius, a talented composer and writer, and launched AVbyte, a YouTube brand dedicated to the creation of quality musical content. AVbyte has over 1,000,000 subscribers, has been seen over half a billion times, and has over 100 shorts that I directed, produced and edited. Our shorts have been featured in major publications, from BuzzFeed and Mashable all the way to CBS and CNN. In 2016, I was nominated for a Streamy Award (Best Director) for my work.
I recently had the pleasure of working with The CW. I produced and directed for The CW Seed "How To Be A Vampire," a musical series about an awkward vampire who doesn't fit in.
Besides all this, I’ve created content for some of the world's top brands, such as Disney, Fox, Loot Crate and Xbox.
These days (probably as you’re reading this), I can be found in my LA apartment, putting the finishing touches on a feature screenplay, writing outlines and pilots for shows, making more shorts and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
